Israeli criminal forces compel Palestinian family to demolish their home in Beit Hanina

Israeli authorities forced a Palestinian family in Beit Hanina to demolish their own home, citing lack of a building permit. The family of 11 was displaced under duress. The IOA rarely grants construction permits to Palestinians and routinely enforces demolitions under threat of heavy fines.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) forced a Palestinian citizen in Beit Hanina, north of Al-Quds, to demolish his own home on Monday.

Local sources reported that Israeli municipal teams, accompanied by military forces, stormed the home of the al-Hashim family and ordered its immediate demolition, citing the lack of a building permit.

The family, consisting of 11 members, was compelled to destroy their own home under duress.

The IOA rarely grants construction permits to Palestinian residents of Al-Quds and routinely forces them to demolish any structure built without approval, under the threat of heavy fines.
